Infused Honey

Description

The combination of our own pure honey infused with herbs from our gardens makes for a surprising treat.

Each set includes 5 infused honeys that can be used alone or mixed together to sweeten and flavor teas, taken by the spoonful, as skin care or just enjoyed for their delightful flavor.  Try adding one or more to some course raw sugar for an exquisite sugar scrub or gently warm and apply directly to face for a few minutes then rinse clean.

Raw honey strengthens the immune system, decreases a body’s inflammation, helps digestion, helps cure sore throats and colds, etc.

Lavender infused honey increases the intake of vitamins and minerals, promotes relaxation, antioxidant, antifungal and antiseptic properties.  Improves the healing of wounds and improves skin condition. Delicious in tea and coffee!

Sage infused honey is an antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, antisposmodic(muscle spasms), anticatarrhal (remove excess mucous), anhidrotic(promotes sweating), astringent, diaphoretic(when served warm) and expectorant.  It is high in nutrients and antioxidants and may support bone health and reduce signs of aging.

Tulsi infused honey. The holy Tulsi also know as the “queen of herbs” is the most sacred of all the herbs found in India! Tulsi has been used in India for around 5000 years and is acclaimed for it’s healing properties of the mind, body and spirit.  It reduces stress, boosts immunity, enhances stamina, relieves inflammation, helps heal wounds, promotes a healthy, youthful glow, lowers cholesterol, eliminates toxins, lowers fevers, improves digestion, provides a rich supply of antioxidants and other nutrients.

Mint infused honey aids digestion, can help reduce fever, relieve symptoms of the common cold, prevents nausea, supports healthy skin and hair.  Also, has cooling properties for burns including sunburn.
